Excellent opportunity for an IP Solicitor to join a leading Media & Entertainment law firm in London, working with an exceptional client base across the creative industries.

The firm has established longstanding relationships with an impressive client base, advising high-profile individuals, international brands, rights holders, agencies and businesses across music, entertainment, fashion, art and consumer sectors.

They are particularly recognised for their specialist industry expertise, commercial approach and ability to advise on sophisticated matters involving intellectual property, brand protection and commercial rights.

The Opportunity

The firm's specialist Brand Protection team advises on all aspects of intellectual property protection, management and enforcement, acting for an exciting and diverse client base.

The team handles a broad range of advisory, contentious and non-contentious matters, including trade marks, design rights, copyright, brand exploitation and disputes.

This will include:

• Advising on trade mark and design clearance, registration, prosecution and portfolio management.
• Handling IP enforcement matters, including trade mark infringement, copyright disputes and passing off.
• Advising on brand protection strategies, including online enforcement and international brand portfolios.
• Assisting with commercial agreements involving branding, merchandising, endorsements and collaborations.
• Advising on the protection and commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights.

Requirements

• UK Qualified Solicitor with 1 to 4 years' PQE.
• Strong experience advising on brand protection, trade marks, copyright and design rights.
• Excellent technical ability, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• A genuine interest in working with clients across the media, entertainment, fashion, art and consumer sectors.
• An entrepreneurial approach and enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of a specialist practice.
