Excellent opportunity for an experienced Trade Mark Paralegal to join a leading Media & Entertainment law firm in London, working alongside a highly regarded Partner to support the development and growth of a dedicated Brand Protection practice.

The firm has established longstanding relationships with an impressive client base, advising high-profile individuals, international brands and businesses across music, entertainment, fashion, art and the wider consumer sectors.

The firm is now looking to further strengthen its Intellectual Property offering with the establishment of a dedicated Brand Protection team, led by an incoming Partner with over 20 years' experience in the field.

The Partner is recognised in leading legal directories and international IP rankings for their expertise in intellectual property and the creative consumer industries.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trade Mark Paralegal to join a growing specialist practice, supporting a highly regarded Partner on a broad range of brand protection and intellectual property matters.

The team will advise a high-quality client base on trade marks, design rights, copyright and brand protection, offering the successful candidate exposure to varied and interesting work across a range of creative and consumer industries.

This will include:

• Assisting with trade mark and design prosecution matters.
• Managing deadlines and supporting the administration of trade mark and design portfolios.
• Supporting trade mark enforcement and brand protection matters.
• Liaising with clients and working closely with fee earners on a broad range of intellectual property matters.
• Assisting with the day-to-day management and development of the firm's growing Brand Protection practice.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Trade Mark Paralegal.
• Experience in trade mark prosecution and portfolio management.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ideally hold, or be working towards, the CITMA Paralegal qualification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
• A genuine interest in brands and the media, entertainment, fashion, art and consumer sectors.
