Head of PMO, Global SAP S/4HANA Transformation

£800 per day, inside IR35 | 12 months initial | Hybrid, [London / Hertfordshire]

A FTSE 250 global manufacturing business is moving its enterprise from a mixed SAP ECC and legacy ERP estate onto SAP S/4HANA. The programme spans manufacturing, supply chain, order to cash and finance across multiple regions, with several system integrators involved and a newly formed senior IT leadership team driving it.

They need a Head of PMO to build and run the programme office that holds all of this together. You will set up governance from the ground up, establish a single version of the truth on plan, cost and risk, and give the steering committee the information it needs to make decisions rather than simply receive status reports.

You will have led the PMO on at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation in a global, multi-site business, and you will understand SAP Activate and how S/4 programmes are structured in practice. You will have managed system integrators commercially, not just operationally, and you will be comfortable challenging a programme director or SI partner when the plan does not stand up. Experience in a regulated environment, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals or life sciences, will be a significant advantage. PMP, MSP or PRINCE2 certification is welcome but not essential.

Practical details

The rate is £800 per day, inside IR35, via umbrella or PAYE. The initial term is 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension. The role is hybrid.
