The Crime Lawyer Role:
- Handling a varied caseload under supervision, or no supervision.
- Representing clients at police stations, magistrates’ and Crown courts.
- Gaining hands-on experience across specialist criminal areas.
- Providing excellent client care and building long-term relationships.
- Competitive starting salary.
- Training and mentoring from experienced crime lawyers.
- Holiday, pension, health plan, and career development.
- Recently qualified Crime Lawyer, Crime Duty Lawyer, or Police Station Representative (NQ – 20 years PQE).
- Strong academic background and enthusiasm for learning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Duty accreditation, if possible.
- Experience in criminal defence work.
- Strong advocacy, client care, and communication skills.
