Disclosures Business Analyst - EU SSR and/or US 13F

We are working with a leading quantitative investment manager looking to hire a Business Analyst specialising in global regulatory disclosures.

This role will focus on reviewing and improving existing disclosure processes across systems, data, workflows and controls. The successful candidate must have direct experience with European Short Selling Regulation (EU SSR) disclosures and/or US 13F reporting.

Candidate Profile

This is not a general Regulatory Change or Technology BA role. You will need a genuine understanding of the underlying disclosure requirements and reporting processes.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. You should be able to question existing processes, investigate issues independently, identify potential control gaps and turn your findings into practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and enhance existing regulatory disclosure and position-reporting processes.
  • Interpret disclosure regulations and translate requirements into clear business and technical specifications.
  • Review positions, disclosure thresholds, reportability calculations, data flows and filing processes.
  • Produce BA documentation including process maps, data mappings and UAT scripts.
  • Identify reporting errors and control gaps, investigate root causes and drive remediation.
  • Lead/support testing, UAT and implementation of process and system enhancements.
  • Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology.

Key Experience

  • Strong Business Analyst experience within regulatory disclosures or position reporting.
  • Hands-on EU SSR and/or US 13F reporting experience is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end disclosure lifecycle, including positions, thresholds, calculations and filings.
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements into business, operational and technical requirements.
  • Strong process mapping, data mapping, testing and UAT experience.
  • Broader exposure to major shareholding or position disclosures would be beneficial.
  • Experience identifying control weaknesses and delivering practical improvements.
