Are you a qualified Early Years practitioner who enjoys helping young children learn, explore and develop? A primary school in Lambeth is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children across its Nursery and Reception classes.

This role would suit someone who understands the importance of early development and can help create a nurturing environment where children feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

• Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities across Nursery and Reception.

• Helping deliver engaging EYFS activities through play, exploration and structured learning.

• Encouraging language development, early phonics, number recognition and social interaction.

• Providing additional support to children who need help accessing activities or following classroom routines.

• Promoting positive behaviour, independence and confidence.

• Helping prepare resources and maintain a safe, organised learning environment.

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or a relevant equivalent.

• Experience working with young children in a nursery, school or early years setting.

• An understanding of the EYFS framework and age-appropriate learning.

• A warm, patient approach and the ability to build positive relationships.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• An immediate start in a long-term position.
