Interim HR Manager - #2169207

EA First is recruiting a remote Interim HR Manager to support a Not-for-Profit organisation during a period of transition. This is a hands on opportunity for a confident and proactive HR professional who enjoys getting involved in the day to day delivery of HR activities. The position is paying £45k-£50k FTE per annum (day rate will also be considered), it is an initial 3 month contract.

Currently undergoing a period of transition within its HR function, they are seeking an experienced Interim HR Manager to provide hands on operational support, maintain effective HR processes and assist with the transition to an outsourced HR model.

Interim HR Manager:

• Manage day to day HR administration, ensuring processes and documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, shortlisting candidates and supporting the recruitment process.
• Manage new starter and leaver processes, including drafting employment contracts and coordinating inductions.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with changing employment legislation.
• Maintain and update employee records using Breathe HR, addressing outstanding administration and ensuring data accuracy.
• Provide practical HR support across employee relations matters, working alongside senior colleagues.
• Support the transition to an outsourced HR service, ensuring effective handovers and continuity of processes.
• Assist with wider HR activities, including workforce planning, employee benefits and training coordination.

Interim HR Manager:

• CIPD qualified (or working towards), with proven experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong operational HR experience, with a willingness to take ownership of administrative tasks.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR policies.
• Confident managing recruitment, on-boarding, employee records and HR documentation.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Experience using Breathe HR would be advantageous.
• A collaborative, practical approach with a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Interim HR Manager:

• £45,000-£50,000 per annum.
