Solutions Architect- AI
We are currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect with AI experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and emerging capabilities such as AI
• Produce and maintain high-level and detailed solution design artefacts
• Strong awareness of cyber security principles (secure-by-design, Zero Trust)
• Ensure consistency and reuse across solutions and platforms
• Apply systems thinking to manage dependencies, integrations, and data flows

• Apply and contribute to architecture principles, standards, patterns, and frameworks
• Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security policies, and compliance requirements
• Participate in solution design reviews and governance forums
• Review and assure solutions for quality, consistency, and fitness for purpose
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Awareness of AI/ML integration and governance considerations

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in architecture or cloud certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure) would be beneficial
• Strong domain experience working in financial services or pension industry
• Proven solution design expertise across applications, APIs, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and hybrid cloud architecture
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and enterprise governance practices
• such as .NET, Python/Django, C, C++, relational databases (Oracle/Postgresql/Azure SQL), PL/SQL, and React
• Comfortable working across a broad technology landscape, including modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, and legacy environments
• Practical experience or strong awareness of AI-enabled architectures, including embedding GenAI/ML capabilities into enterprise solutions with appropriate governance and controls
• Experience in aligning AI-enabled solutions with compliance, audit, and data protection requirements
