Role Description The Chef at Enigma Quests will design and prepare food offerings that complement the escape room experience and support the overall guest journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include pizza making, preparing and plating dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, and managing staff food everyday being able to explore and be creative. The Chef will work closely with team to coordinate timing of food service with bookings and events, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in London, requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in a kitchen environment, with solid skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and best practices for maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including menu planning, inventory control, and coordination with front-of-house staff.
• Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to tailor food offerings to themed events and provide a memorable guest experience.
• Relevant culinary training or certifications (e.g., culinary school, food safety certification) are highly beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, creative team and adapt to a dynamic, entertainment-focused environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in an on-site London venue.
