SEO AND CONTENT MANAGER

Our client is a growing B2B utilities business with a strong and expanding customer base across the UK. As they continue to scale, they’re investing in their digital presence and looking to strengthen their marketing function with the right hire.

They’re looking for an SEO and Content Manager to own the strategy and delivery of their content, technical SEO and AI search presence, ensuring the brand is found, understood and trusted wherever their audience, and the models they increasingly rely on, are searching. This is a hands-on, independent role for someone who can set the strategy, build the plan and execute it themselves.

Location: Hybrid, West London

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000

AS SEO AND CONTENT MANAGER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Own and lead content, technical SEO and AI search (AEO/GEO) strategy from planning through to execution
• Carry out technical SEO audits and implement fixes covering site structure, crawlability, indexation, site speed and schema markup
• Build and deliver a content strategy that supports both traditional search and AI-driven discovery
• Monitor and shape brand representation across the wider digital ecosystem that informs LLM outputs, including review platforms and professional channels
• Track and report on organic and AI search performance, influencing senior stakeholders to build the case for continued investment

THE IDEAL SEO AND CONTENT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

• Strong technical SEO background with hands-on experience auditing and optimising websites
• Demonstrable early adoption of AI search, AEO and GEO practices with a genuine interest in how LLMs surface content
• Proven ability to develop and own a content and SEO strategy independently, from insight through to execution
• Confidence working with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and gain buy-in
