  • Use effective assessment strategies to inform planning and support continued progress.

  • Support pupils' literacy, numeracy, communication and wider academic development.

  • Identify pupils who may require additional support and implement appropriate strategies.

  • Provide an inclusive learning environment that supports pupils with SEND and EAL where required.

  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.

  • Manage classroom routines effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, school activities and the wider life of the school.

About You

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.

  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.

  • The ability to plan, deliver and differentiate engaging lessons.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A positive, patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

  • The ability to motivate pupils and build strong, supportive relationships.

  • A commitment to inclusive teaching and meeting the needs of pupils with varying abilities and backgrounds.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom responsibilities effectively.

  • A sound understanding of safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for every child.

What We Offer

In return, we offer:

  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils' learning and development.

  • The chance to work within a primary school based in Willesden, North West London.

  • A collaborative and supportive teaching environment.

  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.

  • A rewarding role where pupil progress, wellbeing and achievement are valued.

  • The opportunity to develop your teaching practice and broaden your primary education experience.

  • A school environment focused on inclusion, high expectations and positive outcomes for all pupils.
