Oversee accounting for capital movements, investor equity contributions and inter company funding flows.
Maintain accurate capital and funding records, ensuring appropriate reconciliations between corporate and scheme entities.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Sage Intacct, including system design, data migration, user acceptance testing, parallel running and go-live.
Manage the implementation partner and advisers, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines and budget.
Develop finance processes, accounting policies, documentation and controls from the ground up.
Coordinate corporate tax and VAT compliance alongside external advisers.
Provide accurate financial information for Board reporting, investor updates, regulatory submissions and wider management information.
Work closely with the Finance Director, CFO, Financial Controller and wider business to ensure consistent reporting and effective financial governance.
ACA, ACCA or CA qualified accountant with at least three years' post-qualification experience.
Strong hands-on experience preparing group consolidations and FRS 102 statutory accounts across multiple entities.
Experience accounting for overseas holding companies and complex corporate structures.
Proven experience leading a statutory audit from the client side, from planning through to signed accounts.
Experience leading a finance systems implementation end to end, including design, testing, data migration and go-live. Sage Intacct experience is preferred.
Strong technical understanding of inter company accounting, capital movements and funding flows.
Comfortable operating as a hands-on manager within a small, developing finance team.
Experience building reporting processes, controls and documentation from scratch.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with auditors, advisers, investors and senior leadership.
Experience within pensions, insurance, asset management or another regulated financial services environment is desirable.
