We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Manager & Contract Lead for our Government client on a mainly remote basis but with ad hoc travel - Possibly twice a month to central London / Croydon / Manchester.

The Strategic Supplier Manager role will be an initial 12 month contract paying between £550 - £650/Day Inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:

• Lead relationships with strategic suppliers and delivery partners
• Drive supplier performance, value and innovation
• Shape supplier strategies, intelligence and stakeholder engagement
• Provide expert commercial and contract management advice
• Build and enhance contract management capability across the organisation
• Establish assurance frameworks that strengthen contract oversight
• Represent the organisation in strategic supplier and stakeholder engagements
• Promote best practice and continuous improvement in supplier management
• Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM)
• Professional Services category management
• Contract management & supplier governance
• Public sector procurement (PA23)
• Government contract management experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing
• Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
• Project delivery in fast-paced environments
• Proven leadership & collaboration skills
• eProcurement systems expertise
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset
