Financial Planning Administrator | Edgware | Salary up to £40,000 & Hybrid Working

We’re partnering with a well-established financial planning firm in North West London. They’re looking for an organised, proactive IFA Administrator to support their paraplanning team and planners. The firm advises a sophisticated, high-net-worth client base. Your work will keep cases moving smoothly from first meeting through to implementation.

The firm uses the latest AI tools across its processes. They take on the repetitive, time-consuming tasks, so you can focus on accuracy, client service and getting things right for clients. If you want to work in a modern, forward-thinking advice business and build a career in financial services, this is a great place to do it.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the Paraplanners and Financial Planners with the day-to-day administration of client cases
  • Gathering client information, including letters of authority, policy data and provider information, and chasing outstanding items
  • Preparing case files and research packs so the Paraplanners have what they need to build detailed financial plans
  • Using AI-assisted tools to collate data, draft documents and speed up routine processing
  • Processing new business applications, transfers and investment instructions through to completion
  • Keeping the back-office system accurate and up to date
  • Liaising with providers, platforms and clients by phone and email
  • Supporting annual reviews by preparing valuations, review packs and meeting documentation
  • Making sure all files meet compliance requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Administration experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial services firm (preferred but not essential for the right person)
  • Strong attention to detail and a well-organised approach to managing multiple cases
  • Confident, professional communication with clients, providers and colleagues
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to embrace new AI-driven tools and ways of working
  • A proactive mindset. You spot what needs doing before being asked
  • An interest in financial planning, with an eye on progressing your career

What’s on offer

  • A modern working environment where AI and technology remove the admin burden from the admin role
  • Close working with experienced Paraplanners and Planners, with real exposure to how complex financial plans come together
  • Support with professional qualifications for those looking to progress towards paraplanning
  • A friendly, collaborative team within a respected, client-focused firm
