Events Manager - #2171447

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm for a new Events Manager to join their team on a contract basis for a minimum of 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on the London events programme, providing operational leadership and delivering a portfolio of high-profile client and internal events, while supporting key initiatives across EMEA.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the planning and execution of major client-facing and internal events across London and EMEA.
• Managing the full event lifecycle, from initial briefing and project planning through to on-site delivery, post-event debriefs and evaluation.
• Building strong relationships with partners, Business Development teams, senior stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Providing day-to-day operational guidance and coordination to event coordinators and regional colleagues.
• Managing event budgets, forecasting expenditure, negotiating with suppliers and producing budget reports.
• Defining event objectives, measuring success and analysing return on investment (ROI).
• Maintaining accurate event data, management information, and reporting.
• Developing and promoting consistent event processes, templates, and best practices.
• Supporting wider departmental projects, annual planning and initiatives that contribute to the firm's growth and client relationship strategy.

The successful applicant will be degree-educated, have gained prior managerial experience within events, and exemplary project and time management, organisation and attention to detail skills. We are seeking candidates with experience of vendor management, negotiation, and budgeting.
