Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services Design) - #2172122

Our client, a well-established independent building services consultancy with a team of around 50 professionals, is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The consultancy boasts a diverse portfolio of projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, leisure, student accommodation, heritage, and public buildings.

Job role:

• Leading electrical design from start to finish
• Attending client and design team meetings
• Working up system options and early costings, doing the calcs (lighting, cable sizing, distribution boards)
• Producing tender drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, surveying existing installations
• Dealing with utility companies, and supporting contractors on site.

Requirement:

• 6+ years of UK electrical building services design, ideally all in consultancy
• A steady career history. They're keen to avoid anyone who's moved around a lot
• Confident leading designs and representing the company in meetings
• Amtech, DIALux/Relux and AutoCAD or Revit
• Strong on BS 7671 and UK standards
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• IEng or CEng would be a plus
