Connells Group HQ
Job Description

We’re looking for a curious, data-driven graduate to join our research team. Working across Connells Group and Hamptons, you’ll explore what is happening in the housing market and turn complex data into clear, engaging stories.

You’ll develop your analytical skills, build your expertise and contribute to high-impact research that informs business decisions and reaches industry leaders, policymakers and the national press.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Dig into proprietary and public data to uncover the trends shaping the UK housing market
  • Build and develop data models that reveal new insights and challenge established thinking
  • Turn complex findings into clear, compelling stories for senior leaders, clients, journalists and policymakers
  • Contribute to high-profile reports, media commentary, presentations and digital content
  • Work with teams across the business to answer real commercial questions and identify new opportunities
  • Present your findings, share your ideas and help champion data-led decision-making across the group

What we’re looking for:

  • You don’t need to arrive as a housing market expert - we’re looking for curiosity, analytical ability and a real appetite to learn.
  • A genuine interest in housing, economics or public policy
  • A clear and engaging communicator who can make complex ideas easy to understand
  • A curious, creative and practical approach to solving problems
  • Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail
  • Confidence using Excel to analyse complex data; experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI or Microsoft Fabric would be an advantage
  • A degree involving strong analytical or research skills is preferred, such as economics, mathematics or policy

What we can offer:

  • Access to some of the UK’s most comprehensive property data — and the tools to explore it
  • Freedom to investigate the housing market topics that interest you most
  • Support and mentoring from experienced analysts, data specialists and PR professionals
  • Opportunities to see your work featured in national media, industry reports and policy discussions
  • A clear development path, with scope to build your own areas of expertise
  • A competitive salary and personal training allowance to support your development
  • here

Who you’ll work with:

  • You’ll join a small, friendly team and work closely with colleagues across PR, data, marketing, public affairs and the wider business.

Where You’ll Work:

Typically, we’re in our central London office 2–3 days a week, but this can change depending on what we’re doing. When you’re not in the office, there’s flexibility to work in a place that suits you.

If you’re curious about the forces shaping the housing market and excited by the idea of finding stories in data, we’d love to hear from you.

Connells Group UK is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of ***, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, transgender status, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
