Drive new business. Build influential relationships. Create opportunities for growth.

Are you a commercially driven business development professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning connections into long-term business success?

We’re working with an established professional services business that is looking to strengthen its Employee Benefits division with the appointment of an Employee Benefits Business Development Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, developing strategic partnerships and generating new business, with the chance to make a tangible contribution to the growth of a specialist employee benefits offering.

The opportunity

Working closely with the Employee Benefits Business Development Manager, Team Directors and Consultants, you’ll play a key role in creating new revenue streams by developing professional relationships, engaging potential referrers and identifying opportunities to grow the client base.

You’ll help connect businesses with employee benefits solutions that support their people strategies, while building a strong network of professional contacts and nurturing existing relationships to maximise future opportunities.

What will you be doing?
  • Generate new business: Build and develop relationships with professional contacts and introducers to create a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Grow existing relationships: Manage and strengthen established referral partnerships to encourage repeat introductions and organic growth.
  • Develop strategic partnerships: Identify and cultivate larger-scale relationships that can deliver long-term commercial value.
  • Promote employee benefits solutions: Generate opportunities across workplace pensions, group risk benefits, health benefits and online employee benefits solutions.
  • Collaborate with specialists: Work alongside Employee Benefits Directors and Consultants to ensure opportunities are aligned with client needs and delivered effectively.
  • Support client relationships: Assist with onboarding and relationship management, helping to create a positive client experience.
  • Identify wider opportunities: Recognise opportunities to introduce complementary services, including wealth management, where appropriate.
  • Deliver against targets: Work towards agreed business development targets and KPIs, taking ownership of your performance and identifying ways to improve results.
Why consider this opportunity?

This role offers the opportunity to combine relationship-led business development with a broad employee benefits proposition, working collaboratively with experienced specialists to create meaningful commercial opportunities.

If you’re motivated by building a strong professional network, developing strategic partnerships and delivering measurable business growth, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
