Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking for a role where your technical expertise will be valued and your career can progress towards a Senior Paraplanner position?

We are working with a well-established wealth management firm in the City of London that is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Paraplanner to join their support team. Initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, this opportunity has strong potential to become permanent for the right individual.

This is an ideal position for a career Paraplanner who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and thrives in a report-writing focused environment.

As part of an established paraplanning team, you will play a key role in supporting advisers through the production of high-quality suitability reports and technical analysis.

This is a non-client-facing position and is heavily focused on technical report writing rather than attending client meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed suitability reports across a range of financial planning areas
• Preparing recommendations involving pensions, investments and protection planning
• Writing high-quality Pension Switch and Investment Bond reports
• Conducting technical research and analysis
• Supporting advisers with complex financial planning cases
• Maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance across all documentation
• Contributing to the development and ongoing success of the paraplanning function

There is also an opportunity to establish yourself as a senior figure within the team and challenge for a future Senior Paraplanner position.

To be considered, you will have:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
• Minimum 5 years' paraplanning experience
• Strong suitability report writing experience
• Proven experience producing Pension Switch and Investment Bond reports
• Excellent technical knowledge across pensions and investments
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• A desire to remain within paraplanning for the foreseeable future

• Salary of £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid working arrangement
• Central London (EC3V) office location
