Financial Controller - Media Agency

We are recruiting a Financial Controller to join an award-winning Media Agency located in Central London. You’ll be overseeing end-to-end finance operations, management reporting and strategic compliance.

This position provides excellent autonomy and close collaboration with senior leadership.

Financial Controller - Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and cash-flow forecasts.
• Ownership of P&L budgeting, reforecasting, working capital management and monthly/quarterly group reporting.
• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations and managing a transactional finance team, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
• Ensuring full financial compliance; including VAT returns, HMRC regulations and corporation tax coordination.
• Monitoring client profitability, staff efficiency and expenses postings.
• Partner with the Board and senior leadership to deliver strategic updates and ad-hoc financial insights.

Financial Controller - The Person

• Strong background in management accounting
• Ideally prior Media Agency experience
• Proficiency with DDS/MediaOcean accounting system with advanced Excel skills
• Proven track record of managing finance teams and building key relationships
• Ideally available immediately or on short notice
