Enforcement and Investigations Lawyer - #2176176

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Enforcement Lawyer to join a high-profile regulated organisation on an initial 6-month assignment. The role will focus on regulatory enforcement, investigations and disciplinary matters, supporting cases involving potential regulatory and professional breaches.

Duration: initial 6 months
Rate: up to £900pd via umbrella
Hybrid working: 3 days a week in a London-based office


Key experienceWe are particularly interested in lawyers with experience in:

• Regulatory enforcement and investigations
• Disciplinary or professional conduct matters
• Litigation within a regulated environment
• Managing complex investigations and contentious regulatory matters
• Interpreting and applying regulatory rules and frameworks
• Working with senior stakeholders on sensitive or high-profile cases

Ideal backgroundsRelevant candidates may have worked within:

• Bank of England, FCA or Financial Reporting Council
• Leading law firms within regulatory enforcement, investigations or financial services litigation
• Banks, financial institutions, exchanges or other regulated financial services organisations
• Professional or disciplinary bodies such as the Nursing & Midwifery Council or Association of Optometrists
• Other regulated environments where professional indemnity, conduct and disciplinary proceedings are relevant
