We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 111 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled, and promotes regional connectivity.
Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Administration Officer (VPCAO), the Director General, Facilities and Administrative Services Department (FAS) is accountable for leading the strategy, planning, and delivery of AIIB's Workspace and Facilities Management, Administration and Security Services Management, and Corporate Procurement functions, enabling the Bank's sustainable growth through a safe, resilient, efficient, and service-led operating environment.
The Director General will lead the continued evolution of FAS into a scalable, digitally enabled and service-led department supporting the Bank at Headquarters and across its growing global footprint. The role ensures that AIIB has the workplace, administrative, security, resilience and procurement capabilities required for its second decade of sustainable growth.
The Department strengthens end-to-end service ownership and accountability, embeds Lean principles, advances sustainability and digitalization, and ensures services remain scalable and fit for purpose across Headquarters and hub offices.

Establish service standards, KPIs and reporting arrangements, using data, benchmarking and process improvement to enhance service quality, responsiveness, efficiency and value for money, and take corrective action where performance is below expectations.

Ensure timely, transparent, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose delivery through sound procurement governance, sourcing strategy, supplier and contract performance management, ethical safeguards, and procurement planning, while preserving the responsibilities of business owners, Legal and contract managers.

Supervise the development and implementation of relevant frameworks, controls, contingency arrangements and escalation protocols, and lead the Bank-wide business continuity program, including continuity planning, readiness exercises and crisis response coordination. Ensure effective management of operational risks within the FAS mandate and coordinated responses to material incidents, contributing to the protection of the Bank's personnel, premises and reputation.
  • Digital service transformation: Lead the technology-enabled transformation of FAS services through service platforms, workflow automation, data quality, information ownership and reporting, in close coordination with IT on systems, integration and cybersecurity requirements.
