Le Marché des Chefs supplies restaurants, hotels, caterers and other food service establishments including some of the best restaurants in the UK. Our sales staff work directly with culinary professionals, helping them source and discover products that meet exacting standards. We have a reputation for honesty, professionalism and customer service. 

Our focus is upon developing long term client relationships. Due to ongoing growth we’re looking for an ambitious sales professional.

About the role   

Join our team as a salesperson. This is a full time position based in London.

• Develop and maintain a customer base of clients
• Establish strong relationships with chefs, purchasing managers and other decision managers
• Present product options, prepare quotes, process orders, and work closely with our team to ensure delivery fulfillment
• Identify new business opportunities, following up on leads and supporting promotional activities such as tastings or product demonstrations

Skills and experience

• Experience in fine food, food service, B2B sales whilst not a prerequisite is an advantage
• Strong customer experience focus
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Clear and professional communication skills, both spoken and written, suitable for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client requests and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant vocational training or education in sales, business, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on working effectively with culinary and hospitality professionals.
