Location: Hybrid (London) - Onsite once every 2 weeks
Rate: £700-£800 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 Months Initial Contract (Likely Extension to 12-18 Months)

Akkodis is supporting a leading UK energy organisation in the search for an experienced Innovation Delivery Manager to join a growing Technology & Innovation function.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated innovation team responsible for developing and commercialising new products, applications, and emerging technology solutions. Working alongside Product Managers, AI Engineers, Designers, and Technology specialists, you'll help transform innovative ideas into tangible business outcomes through Proof of Concepts (PoCs), MVPs, and full-scale product deployments.

We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can bring structure to ambiguity, and has a proven track record delivering complex digital products within large organisations.

Your Impact

• Lead the delivery of innovation initiatives from discovery through to PoC, MVP, and production release.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and AI.
• Apply Agile delivery practices to drive momentum and maximise value.
• Manage risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate planning, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Ensure clear visibility of delivery progress, outcomes, and business value.
• Work closely with internal technology teams and external partners to achieve successful delivery.
• Support the successful commercialisation and adoption of innovative products.

Who Is This Role For?

We are looking for candidates with:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Digital Delivery Manager, or Delivery Lead.
• Strong background delivering digital products within large-scale organisations.
• Experience working with Agile product teams and multidisciplinary technology environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, ambiguity, and evolving requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering complex technology programmes from concept through to launch.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, and iterative delivery methodologies.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within Innovation, Digital Product, or Emerging Technology teams.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI, Automation, IoT, or Data-driven products.
• Experience delivering products through PoC, MVP, and production phases.
• Energy, Utilities, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Previous consulting experience or experience working within complex enterprise environments.
