AI Solutions Engineer

£90,000 to £105,000 | London | Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Are you a hands-on AI Engineer who enjoys building and deploying real-world AI solutions rather than simply talking about their potential?

We are working with a prestigious international professional services organisation looking for an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to help design, develop and deploy secure, scalable AI solutions across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key technical role in delivering practical AI applications, leveraging Microsoft technologies, large language models (LLMs) and intelligent automation to transform business processes.

The Opportunity

  • Opportunity to build and deploy AI solutions with genuine business impact.
  • Work with modern Microsoft AI technologies and enterprise platforms.
  • Influence the adoption of AI across an established international organisation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain production-ready AI applications.
  • Build AI-powered solutions for document analysis, summarisation, research and workflow automation.
  • Develop intelligent AI agents and integrate them with existing enterprise systems.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Azure DevOps.
  • Write robust, maintainable code, primarily using Python.
  • Integrate LLMs, APIs and enterprise data sources into reliable AI applications.
  • Implement effective prompt engineering, grounding and knowledge integration techniques.
  • Ensure AI solutions meet security, data privacy, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Test, monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve deployed AI solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and develop proofs of concept where appropriate.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven commercial experience developing and deploying AI solutions into production.
  • Strong hands-on software engineering skills, ideally using Python.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft AI technologies, particularly Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience working with LLMs, natural language processing and generative AI applications.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing applications, business processes and enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of secure software development, data protection and scalable solution architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into working technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, delivery-focused approach.

Experience within legal, financial or other professional services environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

Importantly, this is a hands-on engineering and delivery role, not a purely strategic AI or innovation position. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate AI solutions they have personally built, deployed and supported in production.

If you are passionate about turning AI capabilities into secure, reliable and genuinely useful business applications, we would love to hear from you.

Our client is an equal opportunity employer. They celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard from us within 2 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
