Senior Compliance Analyst - Central Compliance - #2177824

An Investment Bank is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their growing Compliance team. The role is an initial 6-month contract that could go permanent for the right candidate.

The role requires someone with excellent knowledge of SMCR and other Central Compliance duties including managing PA Dealing, OBI and Transaction Reporting.

As important, is the individual being extremely organised with a pro-active, can do, attitude.

The role offers hybrid working, requiring 3-days in the London office.

Job Requirements

1. Own the day-to-day running of the firm’s SM&CR programme, including annual re-certification, senior manager attestations, Statement of Responsibilities updates and FCA register changes for joiners and leavers
2. Draft, review and maintain compliance policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with FCA rules and regulatory change
3. Handle daily advisory work such as PA dealing approvals, conflicts logging, outside business interests and general compliance queries from the business
4. Manage routine regulatory notifications (e.g. Takeover Panel, London Stock Exchange) and overseas disclosures.
5. Support audit requests and represent Compliance at sub-committees covering CASS, Transaction Reporting and GDPR
6. Bring proven central compliance and SM&CR experience, strong policy-writing skills and the organisation to juggle a varied workload; monitoring or control room exposure is a plus
