We are looking for a Lead PMO for a Core Banking Transformation Programme, guiding the transition towards a cloud-based architecture using Microsoft Azure while ensuring effective governance and reporting.

• Establish and improve programme governance, processes, and reporting standards.

• Manage a PMO team of approximately 2–4 people.

• Oversee programme planning, financial tracking, recruitment, and resource management.

• Implement effective RAID management, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are clearly identified and escalated.

• Improve the quality, consistency, and accuracy of workstream reporting.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and poor-quality reporting, challenging workstream leads where necessary.

• Explore the use of AI to automate and streamline programme reporting.

• Bring structure, accountability, and efficiency to existing internal processes.

• Proven experience as a PMO Lead in a complex banking transformation programme.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based architectures, specifically Microsoft Azure.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively.

• Experience with financial management and resource allocation in projects.

• Familiarity with risk management methodologies.

• Experience with AI tools for project reporting.

• Background in AI-led processes or reverse-engineering projects.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cloud migration.

• Proficiency in Java or development knowledge. (nice to have)
