Cranleigh Personnel
Senior Client Services Associate | City of London | £37,000–£42,000
Are you an experienced Client Services professional ready to take the next step in your career?
Would you enjoy taking greater ownership of team workflow, supporting newer colleagues and becoming a key point of contact within an established financial planning business?
This is an opportunity to join a Chartered, award-winning financial planning firm where development is encouraged, people are valued and you can grow into a more senior role.
The Company
With just over 100 employees, our client has built an excellent reputation for financial planning and developing its people. The culture is social and collaborative, with regular team events and a strong focus on staff retention.
We've placed several people into the business ourselves, and the number of people who have stayed and continued to build their careers there really stands out.
The Role
You'll be joining an established Client Services Team, currently consisting of around nine people, supporting Advisers and Paraplanners to deliver an excellent client experience.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with their own work but is also ready to support others, take on greater responsibility and help the wider team run effectively.
Your responsibilities would be a lovely mix of general client servicing and administration, alongside opportunities to take on greater responsibility across the team. Tasks would include:
- Helping coordinate team workflow and supporting the development of new colleagues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Preparing portfolio reports, meeting documentation and client correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate client records and reviewing client cash accounts.
- Supporting Advisers and Paraplanners with day-to-day client servicing.
- Managing tasks, resolving issues and ensuring deadlines are met.
What's on Offer?
- £37,000–£42,000 salary, depending on experience.
- Discretionary bonus of up to 12%.
- Hybrid working, with two days from home after probation.
- 32 days' annual leave, including bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday.
- Private medical insurance, income protection and Death in Service.
- Company pension scheme and rail season ticket loan.
- Regular team and company-wide social events.
- Structured career development and the opportunity to grow into a more senior or leadership-focused position.
What They're Looking For
- Experience in Client Services, IFA Administration or financial planning.
- A good understanding of the financial planning client journey.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues proactively.
- Someone who enjoys supporting colleagues and is ready to take on greater responsibility.
Location and Working Pattern
Based in the City of London, with two days working from home per week available after probation.
