Senior Risk Manager - Emerging Markets - Selby Jennings - #2179120

A leading global hedge fund is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to provide risk oversight across Fixed Income and Macro portfolios within Emerging Markets. This role can sit in either London of Dubai.

Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative teams and senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for analysing portfolio risks, challenging exposures, conducting stress testing and supporting investment decision-making across a range of Emerging Markets strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide risk oversight across Emerging Markets Fixed Income and Macro portfolios.
• Conduct portfolio and trade-level risk analysis across Rates, FX, Credit and Derivatives.
• Perform stress testing, scenario analysis and exposure monitoring.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to challenge positions and manage risk exposures.
• Deliver risk insights, reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience within Market Risk, Trading, Structuring or Quantitative Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Emerging Markets products.
• Experience within a hedge fund, investment bank, asset manager or similar trading environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Python and quantitative modelling experience viewed favourably.
