AAT Qualified ACCOUNTANT

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining sales and purchase ledger records
• Weekly suppliers’ payment runs
• Completing bank reconciliation in multicurrency
• lntercompany invoicing and reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers and resolving supplier queries
• Assisting Senior Accountant with ad-hoc duties
• Assisting with month end reporting, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
• Reconciling balance sheets
• Completing and submitting VAT returns
• Fixed assets register maintenance
• Accruals/prepayments/deferred income/leases/loans month end journals
• Preparing supporting schedules and documentation for annual statutory and Group audits

The successful candidate will:

• Be AAT qualified, ACCA qualification/ studies considered an advantage
• Knowledge of UK VAT requirements
• Have a 2-year post qualifications and proven experience of working as an accountant
• Have great communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail, ability to investigate discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines
• Have good Excel skills
• Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Zoho is an advantage
• Ready to work from office
