I am working with a specialist advisory firm looking to appoint a Senior Associate to its Sustainability Risk & Strategy team.

This is an opportunity to work closely with investment managers across private equity, private credit and other asset classes. Joining a small, collaborative team, you will combine sustainability research, regulatory insight and practical delivery, with meaningful ownership of client work.

You will help clients develop their responsible-investment programmes, understand evolving sustainability requirements and communicate their approach to investors. Your work will range from drafting policies and supporting investment due diligence to analysing data and presenting findings directly to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing sustainability policies, procedures and tailored data-collection tools.
• Preparing responsible-investment reports, disclosures and investor questionnaire responses.
• Researching regulatory and industry developments and translating them into practical guidance.
• Organising and analysing data in Excel and producing clear, engaging PowerPoint presentations.
• Managing client workstreams, leading calls and contributing to training and external presentations.

• Ownership: Take responsibility for substantive client work, with support and review from experienced colleagues.
• Variety: Work across investment strategies and projects, rather than focusing solely on reporting.
• Client exposure: Build relationships with investment-management clients and work closely with their teams.
• Visibility: Contribute ideas, attend industry events and help shape a growing advisory practice.
• International collaboration: Work with US-based colleagues and clients, with travel to New York at least once a year.

You will bring around 3-5 years' relevant experience in sustainability, responsible investment or advisory, ideally supporting financial-services or investment-management businesses.

We are looking for:

• An understanding of funds and investment strategies; private equity or private credit exposure would be advantageous.
• Experience producing sustainability policies, reports, research or related client deliverables.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, alongside strong professional writing.
• The confidence to explain technical information clearly and lead client discussions.
• A curious, resourceful approach and the ability to solve problems independently.

Relevant backgrounds could include specialist consultancy, in-house responsible investment or broader sustainability roles with investment-industry exposure.
