The Role

You will play a key role in strengthening model oversight and credit decisioning processes, working closely with Data Science, Risk, Engineering and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading independent validation of credit risk and decisioning models.
• Assessing model performance, calibration, stability and suitability for business use.
• Building monitoring frameworks for model performance, data quality and decision outcomes.
• Identifying, investigating and resolving model, data and implementation issues.
• Presenting insights and recommendations to both technical and senior business stakeholders.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in decision science, credit risk analytics, model validation or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for analysis, validation and monitoring.
• Strong statistical knowledge with the ability to evaluate and challenge predictive models.
• Experience working across the full model lifecycle, including validation, calibration and monitoring.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience within lending, financial services, commercial credit or related sectors is advantageous.
