About the role:

We are recruiting 3 Site Operatives at LondonEnergy. As a Site Operative, you will have a strong customer service background and will act as the first point of contact to the public, providing a professional service by giving advice, direction, and assistance, ensuring that waste is received and deposited correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations

• Delivering a consistent high level of customer service, working to the company standards and contract requirements.
• Assisting members of public, where safe and appropriate to do so, and overseeing the sorting and safe disposal of customers waste and recycling materials.
• Advising on the correct segregation of waste and recycling into relevant containers / storage areas.
• Monitoring and directing traffic movements within the facility.
• Carry out general site duties including housekeeping of site grounds, buildings and staff facilities.
• Operate the site in line with current company policies and procedures

General

• To carry out other appropriate duties at a similar level at the designated site/sites or other company sites as required

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible approach may be required to learn other roles within the site to ensure effective operating procedures.
• Must be willing to learn operations and undergo appropriate training.
• Be able to work shift in a pattern (including some weekends)
• Experience working in a public facing role
• Working in a similar role is desirable
• Health and Safety awareness training
