Communications Executive - #2180227

A well-established and growing creative organisation in London is looking for a Brand & Communications Executive to help bring its news and projects to a wider audience. The role would suit an excellent writer who is highly organised, works well as part of a team and takes great care over detail.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will support communications across the business and its portfolio of companies. You will help to deliver engaging content and keep projects and communications running smoothly.

This is a varied, hands-on role that brings together creativity and organisation. You will be as comfortable writing copy and creating content as you are coordinating projects and liaising with agencies and external partners.

The work changes from day to day. One day you might be preparing copy and content for a company announcement across the website and social media. The next could involve designing event invitations and managing RSVPs. Another might see you gathering publicity assets from partners.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Looking after social media, from creating content to reporting on its performance
• Writing and editing website content so it stays up to date
• Maintaining the communications calendar and sourcing stories from across the business
• Preparing the quarterly internal newsletter
• Gathering publicity assets into an organised library and helping to keep the brand consistent
• Supporting company announcements and PR activity
• Helping with events

The ideal candidate

• Someone with around 1-3 years' experience in communications, marketing, PR, social media or digital content
• A strong copywriter who can adapt their tone for different audiences
• A careful editor and proofreader
• Someone who has created and published content for brand social media channels
• Naturally organised and attentive to detail
• Happy juggling several projects and deadlines at once, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
• Comfortable working with people inside and outside the business, including agencies and partners, and trusted to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ideally familiar with a CMS and basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
