Azure Databricks Data Business Analyst

• Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London)
• £550/day via Umbrella
• Initial 6-Month Contract
• Immediate Start

Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Azure Databricks Data Business Analyst to join a global risk consulting firm on a major data transformation programme.

Working between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into detailed data solutions across Azure-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and data requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Produce user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the bridge between Data Engineers, Architects and business teams.
• Support the delivery of Azure data platform and analytics initiatives.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst within enterprise data programmes.
• Strong understanding of Azure data technologies including:
• Azure
• Databricks
• Experience working on data transformation, migration or analytics programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
• Ability to work confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing detailed user stories and functional requirements for development teams.

Desirable

• Experience with Power BI.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps and Agile delivery practices.
