Regional Sales Manager (South) - Remote - #2182326

OverviewOur client is a large, established B2B organisation supplying solutions to customers across construction, infrastructure and wider commercial markets. The business operates nationally and is part of a significant international group, with a strong focus on continued commercial growth and developing its sales capabilities.
The opportunityAs part of the continued commercial development, they are looking to appoint an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead its sales operation across the South of England.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership position with responsibility for a distributed team of 10 Area Sales Managers. You will take ownership of regional sales, margin and pipeline performance, ensuring the team consistently generates new business, develops valuable customer relationships and delivers against its commercial objectives.

• Lead, develop and coach a regional team of Area Sales Managers.
• Drive performance across sales, margin, pipeline growth and new business generation.
• Implement a consistent and effective sales approach across the region.
• Build and maintain a strong forward pipeline, with visibility of opportunities over the next 18 months.
• Support the team in improving conversion rates, qualification and opportunity progression.
• Oversee pricing, commercial terms and deal quality to protect margins and commercial performance.
• Create strategic account plans to grow existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
• Analyse sales and performance data to highlight trends, risks and areas for growth.
• Join team members at customer meetings, providing hands-on coaching and support in the field.
• Ensure effective use of CRM systems, sales tools and agreed commercial processes.
• Partner with Operations, Finance and other internal teams to support wider business objectives.
• Contribute to sales forecasting, planning and wider operational activity.

What you will get in this role
