Investment Operations Business Analyst

Location: London

Hybrid - 2ish day a week on site

Contract until at least June 2027

Rate - £700-£800 a day (umbrella)

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major Pooled Fund Changes programme within investment management. The programme is currently in the Definition & Design phase, capturing requirements across public and private markets before moving into the design of a target operating model and the transition of portfolios and assets between pooled funds.

You'll work closely with investment teams and investment support functions, analysing existing processes, capturing requirements and helping shape a future operating model that supports effective investment operations, performance and risk management.

What we're looking for

• Strong Senior Business Analysis experience within investment or asset management, with a great understanding of investment products and fund structures.

• Experience working across investment operations, ideally within middle- or back-office functions.

• Understanding of cash management and/or Treasury processes within an investment environment.

• Knowledge of public and private markets, including an understanding of different investment asset classes.

• Experience supporting asset or portfolio transitions, ideally involving transfers between investment funds.

• Experience capturing business requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops and translating complex requirements into clear documentation.

• Experience analysing existing processes and supporting the design of a target operating model.

This is a senior, business-focused role, for someone who really understands investment operations. Candidates should be comfortable getting into the detail of fund structures, operational processes and asset transitions.
