We're partnering exclusively with a leading law firm to appoint a Head of Pricing. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected global firm in a newly defined leadership role, reporting directly to the CFO and playing a key part in shaping the firm's commercial strategy.

This position has been created as part of a continued investment in pricing capability, giving the successful person the opportunity to build on existing foundations and drive the future direction of pricing across the business.

The Opportunity

As Head of Pricing, you will lead the firm's pricing function, partnering closely with senior leadership, partners and stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategy, advising on complex commercial decisions and ensuring pricing approaches support both client value and long-term profitability.

This is a highly visible role that requires someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making on some of the firm's most important client relationships, commercial arrangements and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the firm's pricing strategy, aligned with wider commercial objectives.
• Advise senior leadership and partners on rate strategy, pricing decisions and matter profitability.
• Lead pricing support for significant client opportunities, pitches and panel appointments.
• Drive the firm's approach to alternative fee arrangements, including fixed fees, retainers, subscriptions and success-based models.
• Establish and maintain robust pricing governance frameworks, policies and approval processes.
• Oversee financial modelling, commercial analysis and profitability assessments.
• Champion best practice pricing methodologies, tools and frameworks across the business.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing pricing team.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled solutions to improve pricing effectiveness and operational efficiency.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced pricing leaders from legal or broader professional services environments who can demonstrate:

• Significant pricing leadership experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Experience influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
• A track record of developing pricing frameworks, governance and best practice processes.
• Expertise across pricing strategy, profitability analysis and alternative fee arrangements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• An interest in leveraging technology and AI to enhance commercial decision-making.
