The Opportunity

An immediate requirement has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager who can quickly assess priorities, support engineering teams, and maintain delivery momentum.

You'll provide day-to-day leadership across a talented engineering function, working closely with technical and business stakeholders while helping the organisation navigate an evolving team structure.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a large-scale, customer-focused technology environment, with potential for longer-term opportunities as organisational plans develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with engineers, product teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide operational stability and leadership during a period of transition.
  • Balance people management responsibilities with delivery oversight.
  • Drive effective prioritisation and decision-making across the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
About You

  • Able to quickly onboard and become effective in new environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating within evolving and sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Experienced in balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery management.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide stability and direction during periods of change.
