Receptionist - Ad-Hoc / Temporary Shifts

Location: Various locations across London
Pay Rate: From £12.71 per hour

We are seeking warm, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join our pool of Receptionists, supporting a range of corporate and commercial clients across London on an ad-hoc temporary basis.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-focused, fast-paced environment and enjoys creating positive first impressions. You will play a key part in ensuring visitors, clients, and colleagues feel welcomed, supported, and valued from the moment they arrive.

As a Receptionist, you will provide professional front-of-house support across a variety of client sites. No two shifts are the same, so you will need to be adaptable, organised, and confident managing multiple responsibilities throughout the day.

• Welcome and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
• Coordinate meeting rooms and visitor bookings where required
• Support with post room duties, including receiving deliveries and goods
• Manage incoming and outgoing post and courier services
• Maintain visitor logs and follow site security procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients and visitors
• Ensure reception and front-of-house areas remain professional and presentable at all times
• Support with general administrative duties as required

• Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, customer service, or administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy environments
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and other workplace systems
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
