The Firm

Posada & Co was founded in 2015 and the practice has grown year on year. The firm is looking for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join the team, takeover an existing case load, build the department and put their own stamp on both the role and having a key say in the future growth of the department.

Role Description

The role will be based either our Putney or Wandsworth Common branch. Hybrid working is available (i.e 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days wfh), if required. The ideal candidate will either have a following or prepared to actively generate a full time case load of family law clients. Both Putney and Wandsworth Common are affluent areas and there is potential to build a client base of HNW matrimonial clients.

The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of contentious and non-contentious private Family matters including: Divorce, Financial Disputes, Children, Prenuptial and Postnuptial agreements, Civil Partnerships and Injunctions.

Due to the structure of the firm, there are clear progression opportunities to Partnership for the right person.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a family law solicitor
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and foster strong and effective relationships with clients and colleagues and the proven experience of working collaboratively as part of a wider team
• Have their own client following (preferred but not essential)
• A self-starter with the hunger and enthusiasm needed to develop your own practice and create new business development ideas
• A stable work history
