About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Acton, Ealing, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate KS2 Teacher to take responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.

• Take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

• Prepare pupils effectively for their end-of-Key-Stage SATs, identifying gaps in learning and implementing targeted interventions.

• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, using assessment data to inform planning and improve learning outcomes.

• Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour, ensuring a consistent and positive approach to classroom management.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders to support pupil development and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Qualifications/Experience

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Experience as a KS2 Teacher
· Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
· Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
· Right to work in the UK
