Quest Search & Selection are partnering with a well-established national retailer with a diverse portfolio of over 120 stores, spanning high street locations, tourist destinations and larger retail outlets.

We are recruiting a Café & Retail Manager to oversee a high-turnover, tourist-focused destination store, combining fashion and lifestyle retail with busy restaurant and café operations.

The successful candidate will drive sales and profitability, develop the team to deliver exceptional customer experience across both retail and hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities of this Café & Retail Manager role:

• Drive commercial performance by maximising sales, controlling costs in the cafe & retail and delivering profitability in line with business targets.
• Inspire, motivate and develop the team to achieve high standards of performance, engagement and customer service.
• Take ownership of daily store (over 1 million) operations, ensuring efficient processes, consistent standards and compliance with company policies.
• Lead of tea of 12-14 people including an Assistant Manager who oversees the café and retail operation, plus x 3 Supervisors.
• Create a welcoming and engaging customer experience, maintaining excellent service standards across the entire operation.

To be successful in this Café & Retail Manager -

• A commercially driven manager with a proven ability to maximise sales.
• Experience managing teams within retail, hospitality, cafés, restaurants, garden centres, visitor attractions or other service-led environments is requuired.
• A proactive and hands-on leadership style, with a strong focus on customer experience and maintaining high operational standards.
• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and build successful teams.
• A genuine passion for developing people through coaching, training and creating opportunities for career progression.
