Senior UX/UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a fast-paced product team, helping to develop and enhance business-critical digital products across web and mobile platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, customer-focused designer who combines excellent UX and visual design skills with a practical, commercially minded approach. You will play a key role in translating complex requirements and data into intuitive, user-friendly experiences, working closely with stakeholders and product teams to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.
  
  
• Design intuitive, user-centred experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  
  
• Develop user journeys, customer journey maps, reusable design components and front-end design libraries.
  
  
• Simplify complex data and insights through clear, engaging and effective design.
  
  
• Identify usability challenges and develop creative, practical solutions.
  
  
• Rapidly test, iterate and refine designs in response to user feedback and business requirements.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  
  
• Apply Lean product development principles, focusing on rapid iteration, early validation and delivering customer value.
  
  
• Make effective use of AI tools to support ideation, prototyping and stakeholder collaboration.
  
  
• Manage multiple projects and priorities, balancing customer needs, ROI and wider business objectives.
  
  

About you

• Significant experience as a Senior UX/UI Designer or Product Designer, ideally with 6+ years' experience in digital product design.
  
  
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design across digital products and platforms.
  
  
• Excellent skills in user flows, wireframing, prototyping and translating complex requirements into intuitive experiences.
  
  
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, human-computer interaction, user research, usability testing and accessibility.
  
  
• Experience simplifying complex information and data into clear, engaging user experiences.
  
  
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end development.
  
  
• Experience using AI tools for design ideation and prototyping, such as Figma Make, Lovable, Replit or similar emerging tools.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a Lean, agile product environment with rapid design cycles and continuous iteration.
  
  
• Strong visual design instincts and the ability to communicate ideas and design decisions clearly.
  
  
• Confident working with geographically distributed teams and managing multiple priorities.
  
  
• Commercially minded, with a focus on customer value, business impact and delivering practical solutions.
  
  

The opportunity This is a fully remote, 40-hour-per-week contract offering £50 per hour plus holiday pay, running through to the end of the year. There is no overtime requirement, and the interview process is straightforward, with just one round.
