Docklands | Office-based
Good property management means keeping homes well maintained, landlords informed and tenants confident that issues are being dealt with. If you enjoy taking ownership of a residential portfolio and balancing practical problem-solving with strong client relationships, this role offers scope to put that experience to work.
An established property management team is seeking an experienced Property Manager, based at its Docklands office. As the appointed recruitment agency, we are looking for someone who can manage the detail of day-to-day property operations while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
Your portfolio, from move-in to check-out
You will oversee residential properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle, coordinating repairs, monitoring compliance and managing the conversations that keep landlords, tenants and contractors working towards a clear outcome.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating pre-tenancy works, utility transfers and tenant welcomes.
- Managing repairs through Fixflo, including approvals, funding, access and updates.
- Arranging authorised property payments and assisting with insurance claims.
- Monitoring gas safety, EPCs, EICRs and property licences, including renewals and remedial works.
- Completing two inspections per property annually, reporting within 48 hours and following up maintenance.
- Managing check-outs, quotations, deposit deductions, returns and disputes.
- Updating Reapit, liaising with colleagues and supporting the Head of Property Management.
What you will bring
You will have experience in residential property management and be comfortable prioritising competing demands without losing sight of service standards. Clear communication, sound judgement and a proactive approach will matter just as much as your ability to keep records and deadlines under control.
The preferred background is:
- At least two years’ residential property management experience.
- Working knowledge of Reapit and Fixflo.
- Professional communication, complaint handling and deposit negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of maintenance, statutory compliance and tenancy administration.
An ARLA Propertymark qualification, or willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous. The role also involves relevant training and continuing professional development.
If you take pride in seeing issues through, building professional relationships and keeping a residential portfolio running properly, apply with your CV for consideration.
