Live Recruitment

Remote working: fully flexible, no set office requirement

Eight thousand attendees, a packed exhibition floor, 200-plus sponsors and exhibitors, and a commercial footprint of £4m. The largest health and care conference of its kind. A brand-new Event Exhibition Manager role where the processes, the strategy, and the shape of the function are yours to build from day one.

- Brand-new role: build processes and strategy from scratch

- Fully agile working: office attendance roughly once every two months

- Large-scale event: £4m commercial footprint

- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Employer pension contribution of 6%

The Company

This is an independent membership body representing the health and care system across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its annual conference is one of the largest events of its kind: a full venue takeover with 600 speakers, a packed exhibition floor and a commercial directorate that runs with a private-sector mentality. People here are trusted to get on with it, and the team has a genuinely inclusive culture.

The Role

As Event Exhibition Manager, you will own the end-to-end operational delivery of all sponsor and exhibitor commitments across the full event cycle, from account management and floorplan execution through to onsite build and close-out, coordinating up to 30 external suppliers and maintaining delivery standards across a large and commercially significant account base.

- Translate commercial contracts into exhibition, activation and build plans

- Manage the full sponsor and exhibitor lifecycle from pre-event through onsite

- Coordinate 30-plus external suppliers across build, AV, graphics and registration

- Own floorplan design, space allocation and technical feasibility

- Maintain account communication across a large sponsor and exhibitor base

- Resolve operational issues and escalate risks to commercial commitments

- Lead onsite execution during the annual event week

The Candidate

The right Event Exhibition Manager will be an events or operations professional who has managed complex, multi-stakeholder deliverables at scale, with hands-on experience of the sponsor or exhibitor lifecycle, pre-event through onsite. Experience coordinating multiple suppliers concurrently and working across floorplans, logistics planning or venue coordination is essential.

A background in large-scale conference or exhibition environments is beneficial for the Event Exhibition Manager position, as is experience with CAD or floorplan software. Candidates coming from event operations, venue coordination or commercial account management roles are all worth applying.

In return you get genuine flexibility, a commercially significant brief to own operationally, and the rare chance to define a function from day one as Event Exhibition Manager. Applications are being reviewed now, so don't sit on it. Send yours across today.
