Corporate Tax Director - #2185864

A leading advisory firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Director to play a key role in the continued growth and development of its successful tax practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working closely with entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed groups and their stakeholders, providing commercially focused advice across a broad range of complex tax matters.

You will work with a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses across a variety of sectors, acting as a trusted adviser to clients throughout their growth journey. Alongside delivering high-quality technical advice, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and supporting the wider leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of owner-managed and privately owned businesses
• Advising on a broad range of corporate tax matters including restructuring, transactions, succession planning and business growth initiatives
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders
• Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings
• Leading, mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across advisory disciplines to deliver integrated client solutions

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified
• Extensive experience within corporate tax, gained in a professional services environment
• Strong technical knowledge combined with a commercial and pragmatic approach
• Proven experience advising owner-managed businesses and private clients
• Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and leading teams
• Strong business development skills and the ability to identify opportunities for growth
