Senior Network Engineer - Private Bank - #2185933

We are partnering with a leading Private Bank to recruit a Senior Network Engineer to join its established technology team.

The Role

• Design, support and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and data centre networks
• Take ownership of the bank's on-premises network platforms
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise networking, including switching and resilient network design
• Manage enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto and Check Point
• Support enterprise Wi-Fi, NAC, 802.1X and network segmentation
• Manage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, ECMP and Layer 2/3 networking
• Support modern data centre networking including spine-leaf, EVPN-VXLAN and IP fabrics
• Own network OS, firmware and security patching across Firewalls, Switches, Routers, wireless and load balancers
• Support F5 BIG-IP load balancing technologies
• Maintain network security controls, Firewall rules and vulnerability remediation

Experience Required

• Strong hands on network engineering experience within business critical environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Check Point Firewalls
• Excellent Routing/Switching knowledge, including BGP, OSPF and resilient Layer 2/Layer 3 design
• WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs and network security skills essential.
• Experience with modern data centre networking technologies
