Finance Manager - #2186003

I'm currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leading international specialist commercial insurer, looking for a Finance Manager to join its London-based Finance team.

This is a key leadership role, overseeing underwriting financial results, technical accounting controls and month-end reporting, while managing and developing a small team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual underwriting results.
• Oversee technical insurance accounting, including premiums, claims, reserves and acquisition costs.
• Own month-end processes, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, accuracy and data quality.
• Work closely with Actuarial, FP&A, Reinsurance and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including US GAAP.

What we're looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical insurance accounting experience, ideally across Lloyd's and company markets.
• Previous experience managing or developing a small finance team.
