Experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator - #2187369

M&J Metal is a growing London-based metalwork company looking for an experienced, reliable Welder / Fabricator to join our team.

We specialise in gates, railings, security grilles, fencing, staircases and bespoke architectural metalwork.

We're looking for someone who knows their trade, can work independently and take responsibility for completing jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

- Fabricating and welding gates, railings, grilles, fencing, staircases and bespoke metalwork

- Measuring, cutting, welding and assembling steel

- Working independently from drawings, measurements and job instructions

- Carrying out smaller fabrication jobs from start to finish

- Assisting with site installations when required

- Identifying materials needed and communicating requirements

- Completing work accurately and within agreed timescales

- Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace

Requirements:

- Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication

- Able to read drawings and work accurately from measurements

- Confident working independently without constant supervision

- Experience fabricating gates, railings and architectural metalwork

- Reliable, punctual and efficient

- Good practical problem-solving skills

- Full UK driving licence desirable

What We Offer:

- £20–£23 per hour depending on experience

- Full-time, permanent position

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
